What the job does

AZTER scales all artwork on the page proportionally around its center, keeps stroke widths consistent with the new geometry, refits the page, and saves selected vector outputs.

Source files, output, and settings

Source files: CDR, EPS, SVG, and PDF vector files.

Output: Resized CDR, EPS, SVG, or PDF files.

  • Target long-edge dimension
  • Proportional center-based scaling
  • Stroke scaling with artwork
  • Selected output format

Jobs that fit this workflow

Group files that need the same production rule. The output will be easier to review, and you can repeat the job with the same settings.

  • Standardizing illustrations for a catalog
  • Preparing consistent microstock dimensions
  • Creating a resized derivative set from master files

Checks before a larger batch

A batch handles repeatable steps. Visual choices still need review.

  • Artwork resize and page resize are different operations; AZTER scales the artwork and then refits the page.
  • Small details and strokes should be reviewed after major scale changes.
  • Use separate batches for different target sizes.

Workflow

Run a batch in four steps

  1. 01

Group files that share one target size.

  2. 02

    Choose source and output folders.

  3. 03

Set the target long edge and output format.

  4. 04

Run the batch and verify artwork, page, and stroke relationships.
